Stay Gold

Uhh. . .
(start at 0:11)
I woke up without a hangover.
Thank God 'cause I hate being sober.
Playing Red Rover as I smoke another bowl.
Out of my mind? Nah, I'm just a little extra into my soul.
Stayin' gold has taken it's toll, taken ahold.
And I've become just another generic mold.
Sorry, I dozed off -- this level of tired can't be controlled.
This level of intellect can't be sold -- so, I stole it.
Fold it up and put it in my pocket for later.
Writing letters that cater to the masses views.
Here's a massive screw you to the youth.
If only you could find your muse young and never use.
Never abuse.
And lately I've been just searching for a noose
Searching for a bruise from the likes of Zeus.
Lookin' for anything to boost the way that I choose
to live my life, so excuse me while I'm sippin' Grey Goose,
asking "What do I have to lose from this booze?"
Better yet, start servin' 'em up in two's.
My mind is a zoo; never had a crew;
Sitting back sniffin' glue while I search for the truth.
And my heart is blue
And my heart is blue.
Damn.
