Change doesn't seem like the best thing

Switching school, means i'm switching up my lanes

Sad to see my friends go, Ima go insane

Images in my brain of the times we rode our bikes past Koonts lane

I'm going through memory lane, got no one to blame

Its on me, and my stupid fame

Best friends are the hardest to lose

Especially when its the whole group

That feeling when you finally find a place to fit in

Now you're being torn away and you lose wind

I don't wanna go, but I know its best for me

Going to a better school seems the recipe

For my bad attitude and my felonies

My bad heart so I can rest in peace

Rest in peace to my old friendship

Losing everything and then some

 

School is right across town, but that doesn't change much

Its a whole different world than I came from

The halls are crowded, its a mess

Used to a small school with no stress

Now I have to try harder,

Make new friends,

But change is apparent, thats why we do this

Its a new chapter in my life and I won't fuck up

Not gonna lose to bad luck

Not gonna make a dumb decision and drink that cup

I'm destined to be here, but its aching my gut

I'm feeling so queesy i'm shaking this up

My mind is nervous I'm breaking a sweat

First day of school, I'm making a bet

With the devil, Get on my level

I might pick up this pencil and use it as my shovel
