The Decision

• Written by

(Intro)
It was a decision, based on years of wisdom acquired through pain,
betrayal and loss, to reject your submission.
It lacks the sharpness and acuity that these future experiences would bring.
It was harsh, heartbreaking, betrayal on a Judas scale, fine fodder for a rapper.
To my past, the lost little boy I once was
From the future I’m in a better place
You told me to not be scared,
And if i keep it real, I'll get there in a faster pace

Dear Slicky, you don't know me, This is my Introduction
I'm an improbable human conundrum
Could do a whole song solely on onion
With no love, no luck, not knowing how to hold up
As a child, watching my parent split up
Under these hard conditions, got me consistently wicked
But then I grew up to realize I'm explicitly gifted

didn't stop you from eating her muffin
For which you almost ended up in a coffin
You aspired for awesome but it required some Bossing
But No Apologies, that was your motherfucking policy
Material possessions don't define your Dignity
You was FOREVER 100, Both In the streets and the industry

(HOOK)
Old me, goddammit, you woke up in those pajamas
You got beaten hard at papa's so you left for mama's
Aye, life was a bitch, so you cuffed them mines
Niggas in Nigeria, was waiting for signs
I reminisce from time to time when i drop them lines
Mr. past life, It was you against the world so i felt like Pac.
