The Legend of Athaardon
• Written by oddfluence
I'm going to stray from the metaphors now, take it literal
Unforgettable lives this supernatural individual
I've done my research in most every topic you could think of
I even remember what caused the disturbance from up above
And what tools they sent down to the mortal plane
It's a shame they couldn't contain Athraadon's wicked campaign
In his brain he wanted to regain all territory in his domain
He used arcane constraints to rearrange his terrain
These gifts they sent down were truly divine
And I don't even understand their powers when they combine
Each imbued with a gracious blessing, sent down in the nick of time
Though I fear now some evil soul will open up his shrine
And release his evil grasp over the world of Gandon
Now this is obviously a future I hadn't planned on
I don't see the exacts just a vague prediction
So if I get it wrong don't hold me up in crucifixion
Let's start with everyone's favorite short guy, Moradin
Such a rational kinda dwarf, I wish there were more of him
He lent down his approval in his potent might
What he makes up for in strength, he lacks in height
Then we have Ioun the watchful intellect
I'm pretty sure she knows all words of power in any alphabet
She handed down a tool to aid in research not killing
Make's all sights flow forth, nothing is safe from this revealing
And this brings me to The platinum Dragon
Bahamut, makes sure the pools of justice don't grow stagnant
He came to the defense of the weak and gave us a shield
Not for one lone hero , it's for all to wield
Helm was also there, The vigilant one
Well revered by almost any paladin
He knows the lay of the land, and he has lent a hand
Get an idea of where others are when other senses are jammed
Kelemvor, may seem bad but he's a cool guy
I understand the stigma , I see how death can terrify
But he knows it's inevitable, he see's it as honorable
Inspires to live a life that's memorable
Torm pretty much is the God of the Martyr
Sacrificing yourself for the ideas that you harbor
Brings out the strongest in any individual
You see yourself step up in the time when it's critical
Let's go to the one known as the grain goddess
To say that she is extremely necessary is being modest
Chautea gave her ability rejuvenate any farmland
or see the hidden meaning on those letters on your nightstand
That's where the visions end I promise
I mean who do you think I am? Nostradamus
I just have a strong sense of foreboding
I click next page but it just keeps loading
I hope I'm wrong, I hope that's just not true
Though I want to be there to witness it first hand view
and this is where this story ends. Adieu
Though may I quickly say Thank you
