sing for the broken

• Written by

this is true classic of a kid broke few glasses
skipped two classes, never had bathroom passes
turned people who fucked with him to ashes.
few splashes black eyes in two patches
so sick of life had a few rashes.
at school received a few thrashes
his boxers ripped when they were in branches
coulda fought back but missed his two chances

At home his life was no different
treated like a criminal knowing he was innocent
playing his role a defenseless citizen
medicine and vitamins.
all they did was take a bite at him
cuz he was light and thin
bone and skin dark like tint
stoned like flint, breath was mint,
broken chin, smiled with a broken grin,
asked god to forgive his sins

people think that they life is bad
ask to trade places with him he'll be glad
you'll have his shoe and you'll be sad and be mad
had to write his bars on a bloody pad
with words to add
thinkin of fame and the chance he has
perhaps they just ideas and scraps
but his mind is like a tire don't run when its flat
killing brats
flippin mats
stompin hats
a minute of fame
is all he asks!
