plus some can't speak when they pretend they didn't see/

the pain in this hurricane coming onto the scene/

first when they see you they think you're nothing but nice/

so why do they now have to pay a horrible price?/

the other day I heard about what happened to Cecil the lion,

on the news/

and I ask myself why? is there a reason to make them all bruised/

bleeding to death even though they're just like me and you/

they're now a victim - reason? for being different/

how many of you will listen to this rap about not letting them feel

prisoned/

writing so many notes, wishing to let go of whatever it is I'm holding

back/

however tears will never be that/

so give me an answer, a plan - yeah, a solution/

to make an improvement including every single person that had to

witness/

but I don't think there's at least one that hasn't seen this/
