I've been down in the dirt, eating my way out
I've been out of the works, seething in great doubt
That I would never see the light through the clouds
Tied to the foul, always wrapped tight in the shrouds
But you'll never catch me whispering a death bless
Always looking up, Never letting my neck rest
Not worried about no dinner as long I have breakfast
Today could be a good day, but I'll make it the next best
Express the chill in the air, no roof to cover me
Acting like it's nothing, couldn't let the others see
I had no money, no rest, no Christmas
Nothing new to me, but it's all riches
To keep what I have, keep doing the math
That there's only up, Yup no room to crash
So I, know as long as my feet and hands work
I'll climb to the top stop, so I can stand smirked
