Mr. Cho

• Written by

Michael met Frances, twenty-five and twenty respectively
He didn't go for younger girls, but she flirted so relentlessly
She was the best of the rest he'd met, so he flirted back eventually
'Til it became so great they made a date and fell in love so recklessly
And everything came into place, he thought that this was it
But they each had demons lingerin' and she disappeared into the midst
He couldn't see a thing but grief knowin' she'd leave just like the wind
And reappear speakin' 'bout peeps she'd meet like she didn't even think of him
But in reality he actually was always what she'd envision
When every night another guy had somethin' pivotal missin'
She didn't admit it so little did he figure she missed him
And only ran away afraid she couldn't return what was given
He finally got used to her not bein' around and then she came back
Sayin' that she made a bad mistake she aimed to take back
His heart and head weren't the best of friends and it perplexed to hear her say that
But he was overjoyed to hear her voice and they went back on the same track
And they did everything together, always laughin', always happy
Always holding hands and stowing plans and going about it gladly
Until they started growin' apart, and Michael had to tell her sadly
"I feel us driftin', something's missin', and I can't fix it with a damn thing"
And Frances had to ask if it that could pass or should they just disperse
He said "I've got to go, but always know I'll love you 'til I'm in a hearse"
They were so perfect for each other and that's what really made it hurt
Because the one thing they just couldn't do together was make it work
