The good life

• Written by

Welcome to the good life, where its all smiles
And the people right next to you don't hold grudges
Where you meet MC Hammer and its never all sludges
Where no man budges and the girls all love you
They call your name at the sight of fame
You could call it fame, but they call me sane
Cause my beats insane
But I been feeling pretty worthless lately
Aim at shotgun at my head like kurt kobain
Then pull the trigger and pop that massive vein
In my head, got my pen bleeding badly
I'm sorry I had to do it, will you please tell Sally
And Emma and Takira, they might start up a rally
i'm the new kid, coming all the way from cali
Thats not the truth but its where you gonna find me
I'll be on the beach trying to get my mind to see
All of life's wonders and Beautiful moments
looking at the stars for a short lived moment
Then I jumped the nearest star, just so I could be the best
Jumped the nearest clock so I could be a time zone ahead the rest
now my head rest on beautiful pillows of feathers
Good cali weather, got me feeling like i'm tethered
Whether or not its summer, winter or spring,
i could be your thing, we could be a team
Find a home, we could go and scheme
On all the huge flat screens, make our way up the news stream
Rock the boat like we swimming in dreams
I just want the bling and every little seems so worth it
Rocking designer jeans, and the seams are worth it
The teams all here and the scenes so perfect
We grew up to be the last of a dying breed
Listening to Tupac and Biggie taught us all to bleed
For what we believe in, so whether or not you with us
We still be leaving this life with all our past behind us
They ask us where we at, psh, you know where to find us
Even if you blind, you can still hear music
Ten feet above the clouds you can still hear music
20 feet in the ground you can still hear music
Its got the power to inspire a whole big movement

Just don't abuse it, or add nothing to it
Cause then a whole generation might get ruined
We do it for the children who live's aren't booming
For the teen who feels like he's worthless
For the man who has tons of major burdens
Just listen to my verses and hear how they inspire
Cause these words could burn through like fire
I might be liar, but i am loyal
Tell the young kids they can all truimph
In life's hardest game, it kicks you out the house
It leaves bruises on your name,
So I use my music to take away the pain
c'mon now, you've got a whole life to gain
