As a little girl

I'm gonna tell you the story of a little girl I once knew

She grew up in a tight family with a strict view

Never though she would see herself in the right hue

The approval she was after from her dad never did come thru

 

Her heart was unscathed til she hit about sixteen

She found her first love or so it seemed
