Being Young

Yeah Im sitting here in my chair just chilling at my school,

laying back just messing around tryna follow these rules,

you may call me old school while your ass is just rude,

thats just an attitude, fuck man im losing altitude,

im on this level of magnitude dont you go on getting it too,

Since im young and getting it, dont you go on forgetting it,

while i get a degree yo ass will be quitting it,

so how about i finish this,

since your diminished people call me the illest,

my homies call me the realist,

fuck man im an idealist, i put pen to paper say im the quickest,

I got a sickness, its called being young, so how bout you get this,

 

Being young people say life is bliss,

If that was true I might need to reminisce,

Life is so eloquent but everything is irrelevant,

people put a clock on life but thats just an estimate,

saying you gonna live life forever is just so arrogant,

telling me how to live my life like your my parents,

Ill live life like I wanna that much is apparent,

Life is like a piece of glass its transparent,

Being young people tell you life's about your profession,

How you needa make a good first impression,

life aint just an obsession,

Its about you choosing the right selection,

dont really matter if you attain perfection,

It aint you when you look into your reflection,

I hate being young man im tryna get in another session.

 

Being young adults dont really hear ya,

always saying that they feel ya,

cause they been there and done that,

but if that was true how could they really mean that?

dont they know how hard it is with everyone treating you like a kid,

actin like you still wearing a little bib shit that aint happening,

im tired of being young, i just wanna see the sun,

like theres a tomorrow dont really know what will follow,

my minds feeling a little hollow hollow like a hollow point,

its armor piercing tryna tell people how im feeling,

but all they hear is just a kid whos complaining,

but i guess thats what happens when your young.
