Rituals

 

world keeps spinning, (better with out 'the' before world)

everybodys grinin

these rituals

keep me beginnin

repeat the cycle,

replay the slide show

we need to keep

these rituals alive though

 

i wrote this as a warning to myself,

never kiss her again, future self , listening in

you might miss her and then, hear the whispering wind

a tongue twister wish a fiffth of gin was missin agian

but you dont want to feel nasueous

you hate that feeling

and the cause of its, a

script for the pharmacist

whats the harm in this, ---it recharges

your battery- but after each- charge

they actually , drain a bit quicker

leadin to their casualty

and the world keeps spinnin casually

and i watch it, ritually, originally,

didn't mean to keep going, noone intervened,

now i do it habitually... ----and i've seen

time passes

slower and slower,

yet dispears so fast

and the years dont last

and you fear the past

and your conscience, is blockin out,

so much, your rotten, your self coscious,

your constantly plottin

and the

---i can't stop biting my finger nails,

feelin like i trapped myself, like a mime in a jail

begginin to feel, lik this is wher sinners dwell

happiness is on its way, like it was sent in the mail

tire marks, gauge the stress level

a snow globe lays, wrapped in tin foil metal

tis the season for reasons

unexplainable but containable, believe in ,

 

the need for---(start singing) this one more time, tomorrows the day

and when tomrrow comes, ill say tomorrows the day

and i love you so much, why must you back lash

holding hands as we run together in a mad dash (stop singing)

he could taste the fire in her breath, he chased it,

every thing he ever cherished, she replaced it

everything that he knows, was deviated

except, um, maybe a few thing we created
