I thank you for blessing me with yet another beautiful day

Even though today was more challenging than yesterday

Please God , grant my parents the strength to forgive me

For heaven knows that what I had done left them uneasy

Please, God grant contentment in my parents hearts

And the understanding that the sacrifices I made was hard

Please God , I know I have made poor choices in my life

But , I thank you God for everyday that I am alive

Thank you God for giving me a purpose to exist

Even though I look down on myself , you see my worth

Please God protect the people who are being oppressed

Because everyone who witnesses death becomes depressed

Please God , grant those who are ignorant with an eye opener

And grant abandoned souls a home and a father and a mother

Thank you God for all that I have and all that I've become

Please God strengthen my knowledge and grant me wisdom

Please God grant me strength to fight away my own demons

Please God protect me from the nightmares even when I'm dreamin
