Jazzy - Puppies
• Written by Osa
Osa's Notes
Inspired by Primus, Eminem, Aesop Rock, and oddly enough, Clutch... I don't really know. Sorry.
This is about War, primarily Iran, the methods of recruitment, PTSD, psychosis, and... Dogs... woof
[CHORUS - INTRO]
The starving fox hole trembles, the bunkers and rifles shake while dust
tumbles, inches closer to the time of the warmongers, we all would rather
be fishmongers, we must ask just how many puppies?
[VERSE 1]
Climbing these dunes was hard enough, I forgot the taste of a cream puff,
it feels like my slough came off in the wind, hold the peacekeeper in my
mits like it's the reaper I control, Dr. Strangelove or how I learned to
kill everyone I see in keen sight, front side to side below and above, they'll
never get a mourning dove because they never experienced love, which
is why they're at war with us, truly we're all superfluous since we could
never reason and discuss, I'm a killer as much as it isn't even a thriller,
all I want to know is am I the only puppy out here?
[CHORUS]
The starving fox hole trembles, the bunkers and rifles shake while dust
tumbles, inches closer to the time of the warmongers, we all would rather
be fishmongers, we must ask just how many puppies?
[VERSE 2]
I'm not even a grown dog, my mind is completely intoxicated in a smog,
I'm only a puppy, why do I have to do this? I'm psychotic as if I could
eat a guppy, as if I could bomb Oklahoma, as if I could have sex with
my TV, as if I could give someone a papilloma, as if I could exclude the
news networks because I find they're full of idiosyncrasy, I stem out my
insanity to my inner Bethlehem when I bomb it and create mayhem,
destroying my mind and brain and leaving me a pile of FM, I'm no more
important than the smallest grain of sand of Iran, when I died I never
saw the pantheon, I died a puppy
[CHORUS]
The starving fox hole trembles, the bunkers and rifles shake while dust
tumbles, inches closer to the time of the warmongers, we all would rather
be fishmongers, we must ask just how many puppies?
