World We Live In

We can get through this, this is how the world works,

I know it may hurt,

you may feel burned. This is the world we live in.

From technology, to religion.

People taking things to heart,

I know I may sound harsh,

but being in this world is hard.

Some people are stupid,

most are clueless, some are fruitless.

Don't think I'm perfect.

You cling to me like I'm worth it.

I don't wanna hurt you. I would trust anyone, if I were you.

This is the real world, filled with peace and war, guys and girls.

I can't believe people are taking time out of their lives,

to commit stupid crimes. Sometimes, people need to pay the price.

Even if it's for their life.

Me? I try. I see people cry, I hear others lie.

I used to be that guy.

Everyday I change.

Sometimes it's good, others cause me pain.

Sometimes I live life the wrong way.

I just want to fall in love. Someone to kiss,

someone to hug. Someone I can trust.

Sometimes I feel like I need luck.

But for now, time to live today, see what tomorrow brings,

whether it's good or bad things.
