How come it had to happen to me ?

Be the one to get seperated from the team

I mean I know I've done wrong but I expected else

I don't want to go in these streets , seen to many kids leave

 

Cause you see , it isn't as safe as how it used to be

 

When we were with eachother

When we wouldn't have any worries

 

I just want it all to go back to how it used to be , you know ?

 

Those times that you could just go outside and chill

 

Not needing to worry about who could get killed .

 

Knowing you're safe and secure

 

Not needing to wake up at 2 in the morning cause of gunshots

 

Or walking by and seeing people get shot

 

Hearing what everyone talks about , every kid who died

So young the fact that they mom could barely supply for them

And they just leave ? Not because they wanted to

 

But because I guess it was destiny

 

Because the world is cruel nowadays

 

Nowadays you not even safe.
