Broken Home

Sitting all alone inside of a broken home

His parents are arguing again so he puts his headphones on

To drown out- the sounds of his dad pushing his mom up against the wall

But the music wasn't loud enough to hide the sounds of her fall

So he- comes out of his room confronts his dad they start to brawl

They're throwing each other around so hard it knocks a picture off the wall

A picture of their family before their dad had lost his job

Before that troublesome event that caused the start of this all

Caused the dad to start drinking and caused a plague in his heart

Caused the son to start smoking pot and caused the mom to fall apart

It was the substances and abuse that tore this family apart

And now you're sitting there with your friends thinking its a good idea to start?
