Ponyboy was at the movies all alone
But then he got jumped on his way home
Pony and Johnny meet Dally at the movies
But Dally's being rude to some pretty girls
Pony stood up for them, yes he did
The girls smiled and told them their names
Cherry and Marci are playin a game
Then Ponyboy goes home
He gets into a fight with his bro
Runs away and runs to the park
Meets up with Johnny
The one with the mark
Socs show up and try to drown Pony
But then Johnny goes and stabs the phony
Pony and Johnny run away to a church
Then Dally shows up and things get hot
The church is on fire! Whoa too hot!
Dally and Johnny get a little burned
Get put in the hospital oh that's gotta burn

He's failing school so Darry gets mad

Then Dally has a run in with the cops
He gets in trouble then he gets shot
Socs show up in front of the store
Pony breaks a bottle willing to score
Then Pony goes and writes his essay
He hopes that he will get an A
