Blue Magic

Raindrops from heaven,
Just let it soak your soul
At a train stop of broken dreams, I wont to let go
Seeking change like a stranger, in hopes of dough
Feeling hopeless though most don't notice the floor creaking
I'm just going with flow, even if it means leaving
Preaching to a pope, yet inside I'm still screaming
Dreaming as the streets start scheming plots
I seen it all, from brothers getting popped and locked
What I'm speaking for is way bigger than cops and jocks
At times I started drinking more liquor, when my momma was
Lost completely, started talking like she'd wanna beat me
Life ain't nothing off the TV, working double just to pay weekly
Hoped someday I'd have enough to lay around, a girl to reach me
A mind-state of a no-know better
Focused so much on faith, I couldn't go-go get her
She's the coldest of all, always changing like the weather
Expecting me to be calm, bitches always think they clever
Just cuz I said you bomb don't mean I accept ya
Perfection, did you forget to mention drugs?
Seeking attention now I'm regretting all the buzz
cuz this shit was a fantasy story, I had to be lonely
To understand the fantasy only had me unholy
