I started praying for the hope and the change of love

the feelings from within that seemed to come from above

The son of the Holy Father who died up on the cross

gave his entire life for the sands of the Lost

sometimes wonder yeah yeah what was the cost

if the world still the same its nothing else but the talk

do what you're supposed to do if you don't then take a walk

see the world through the hurt and pain in the distraught

it's not what you have it's not what you got it's who you become as you take your shot

capture the moment don't ever let it drop hear the Lord speak he speaking through your thoughts

 

give it to God and you'll pull through give it to God yeah he'll protect you

I know sometimes things get rough but you will make it through

and if you're ever feeling lonely were afraid take a look inside your heart

you'll find the words to say, just give it to God just believe and he'll show you the way

I know the world may seem to spend so fast at times you cannot see

of compassion and on all the rights been wronged no respect or humility

whatever happened to humanity the greetings and truth subsides

now truth to lies behind the eyes the sadness begins creep uh uh

through the cracks the light now shines I was once in darkness felt so blind

my soul begins to seek, research discovered the truth uncovered and devised

the image in my mind the cross he bared the weight was mine

with love devine im saved, now all i have to do is

 

give it to god and youll pull through

i know somtimes things get rough but you will make it through

its not our place to judge or to use anger to defend there is no anger in the hearts of faithful men

Defend Jesus with your heart and actions of love and peace let not the words of others free will beseech

and beckon the beast that dwells and awaits to devour our anger

God doesn't want us to defend with hate in our hearts, but spread joy and faith from nearest to far
