Part of the System
• Written by JaySketch
From the valley of oppression,
rose an angel we saw precious,
over years we learned some lessons,
but we're all still second guessin,
second I give into proof,
second I get in the booth,
wreckin me and stressin me,
now that I know the truth,
only a demon could cause so much pain,
must be a hellspawn to play these mind games,
cause America the terror of,
the world look in the mirror, a,
moment of clarity,
were barely any fair it seems,
spendin money on machines,
to blow up other countries,
fuck that,
give it to charity,
so many kids are hungry,
this is something that you cannot dispute,
only ignore,
those who runnin won't tell you the truth,
only want war,
and they'll make you think it's suitable too,
I am not sure,
what a solution could be,
when were polluting the trees,
ruining the air that everybody's gotta breathe,
and who gave em the right?
to tear up this planet,
theres 7 billion people,
but less than 1% plan it,
all I can see is evil,
millions that can't manage,
and somehow we don't care,
that we're doin all this damage,
it's something I can't bare,
to know I stand no chance at,
making a difference,
gotta get paid for a livin,
I'mma part of the system,
that I'm given criticism.
