This just has a verse for now because i did not do a hook to it. Not yet anyway. let me know your thoughts of what you guys think so far
Verse 1]
got me couped up inside my room, window open where the wind blows, cool breeze
winds to strong, temperature feeling low
starting to pose a stance like I’ve been told to freeze
now I can’t move my knees
got me feeling like I’m stuck in time
just a huge hole that I fell in that’s hard to climb
I need to burn away the crime that’s within me
set fire to the ground to continue my rhymes
pen and paper is all I need to reach my prime
then close the window and head out to shine
off to create a record that I know is mine
then got stuck walking in cement, can’t move again
then I ask my brain
why don’t I pay attention to my life when I’m on the move
but now I got to figure out a way to remove
because I’ve got something in myself that I have to prove
gotta do it now, no more time to disappoint
its time for me to pinpoint, what I’m searching for through my viewpoint
with these actions I’ve stepped up, don’t look back, don’t rewind
the past is behind, continue forward so I can follow the line
I’m not talking about any kind of mid line
heading straight for the top of the climb
but then I stopped in an instant thinking about my lifeline
please don’t look so surprised
its just been cut short now I’m frozen in time, come on
