Rep my city

I come to rep my city to make my life better

but so many people try to put me down i fought back

stronger i am here to show them i can do what i do

best it can get hard sometimes but i don't let people see

me cry in public this city is for people that doesn't show any

if my momma left this earth today i don't want anyone to talk

bad about my momma she tried her best to take care of her kids

to give us a better life she wasn't always there but she put us

in a better place she tried to turn over a better life but God

said it was her time to come home it would be a part of my life gone

if she left today her grandkids wouldn't know who she was if she left us today

God could take her at anytime

i keep her in my prayers i

don't care what anyone have to say

about her she tried her best to give me and

my siblings a good life i will always make her

proud no matter what happens to her
