one missed call

this is for you mom

listen you walked out on something precious a child that only wanted you blessing

you left her guseing what happening to her mom

the person that was supposed to teach

her right from wrong and for her to have a shoulder to lean on

instead you just left and gave her the coldest shoulder

she turned in to a solder on the battle field of mixed emotions

why you did not even call you had her back up against a wall

and guse what she overcame it all the struggle where real the years the tears

years later may 8 1995 hit she had a baby boy and he was such a joy she

looked the baby in the eyes and made a promise she would

be there for him no matter what she had problems of her own

a house that did not fell like home a abusive baby's dad

dad so after years

you came to visit you held the baby for about five minuets and then

split again you left her all alone years have gone by now that baby boy grew up to be

a intelligent and grace full young man it happens to be the one behind this pen

i just wrote this letter to show my mom raised me better she was there for me to

show me of course the road was bumpy but it just pulled us closer

now years have gone by now i am twenty one

a bought to have my own son or daughter

i am a better man my mom made me and she raised me i am forever my moms little

baby i wish you could of seen her raise me

now i got your number and its my choice to call

but you where not there for us at all so

i guse its just one missed call
