Yo, let me tell you a story real quick

All them haters out there, are Materialistic

Im gonna tell you a real story

We was in the back of school

Selling drugs thinking we was cool

It started becoming our fuel

We thought we were unstoppable

Getting caught was impossible

It was the struggle, horrible

Living with just my uncle

It was typical in the projects

Nobody was your friend

Because one day they can turn around

And take you to the ground

Ending your life without a sound

Drugs, Violence and gangs

Was the only way to be in the crowd

They waited for a prey, someone they can hunt

Imprisonment was not apart of the vocabulary

If they saw a police vehicle they would spray

Family was the only support in the end

And i didn't have none of it

We would steal to make profit

Whatever was in there pockets

Was our target because money

was our food, if we had nothing

It would be the difference from eating or starving

Streets are a dead zone, people were dying

To survive you had to be the king

Or you had to serve someone

But drugs was my medicine

It was my adrenaline

It felt good, and thats what people understood

I wanted to get to a higher league, i didn't want to look weak

So i started selling more than weed

I was kinda worried at first

But my mind and sole was cursed

Started selling guns and weapons

I finally found my heaven

Making and breaking

People respected me

I finally could feed

And wasn't worried

But one day that shit all changed

12 o'clock, i was on the wrong block

I heard a couple of shots

saw some dudes drop

I started to run

A guy pulled up and told me to get in

Put a mask on my face

Brought me to some place

Beat me till there was no trace

I try to forget about my past but i cant,

I thought being in that life was the best

Now i'm in the hospital

Bloody, bruised and messed

Kinda depressed, but i guess

I was just trying to survive nevertheless.
