I'm trying to be the best that i can be

Trying to survive in this crazy industry

Working to take care of my family

Pepole makes you crazy insanity

Too much weight on me that's gravity

I don't wanna see anyone hungry

Trying to figure out my family tree

Monday through Friday 5 days a week

Body so tired don't get any sleep

My head is hard just like concrete

Man im so tired i can hear my heart beat

Working two jobs barley making ends meat

Everything will be ok u shall see

Wakeing up every morning in this crucial city

Eveybody looks on the outside instead of personality

Still tyring to be the best that i can be in this community

Take it how u wanna take speaking truthfully

I don't need all these fancy things or jewelry

Walking on my own two feet honestly

I go home every night comfy

Paying my rent on the first monthly

My mama told me boy u better not be no junkie

Mama i promise u have my word i won't be

Im going to make u proud best of my ability

Please don't cry i guarantee

I see what u have done for me this reality

Going to school doing my work and study

I wanna say thank u mama for all the love u showed me

Being the best that i can be at all times and free

Stay to my self trying to make a living in this city

This is one world we live in and every body is greedy

Never i thought that life would be easy

Money is gone every day still get paid weekly

Time to shut it down cause im getting sleepy

My stomach is growling cause its empty

Packing my things getting ready for my journey

Finish school didn't go to college or a degree
