Forget about the world
• Written by JDog
I'm sorry daughter that your father's not the same,
I could look into your eyes and tell you that it's all okay,
But tomorrow is tomorrow so forgive what I say,
It's hard to let my baby go into the society of today,
I'll be waiting for you, Watching over you always,
You can hide beneath the covers while Daddy hide's you from the pain,
You've got to understand that your Mummy ain't the same,
And you can't hate Daddy for it he's not the one to blame,
I tried to stop her, I tried to make a change..
Baby I promise that I'll love you, I won't take back what I say,
I'll give you everything that these liar's never gave,
And I know it's hard to fight when you're born in the middle and,
I'd rather die, than watch my daughter giving in,
But baby words can lose there meaning, But I won't walk away,
I'll be your Daddy, I won't ruin what I've made,
Can you hear my words, That's all I can say..
We can forget about the world, I won't run away,
If you ever get hurt baby, Tell daddy what they say,
Because I'm two types of people baby, I am loving and I'm mean,
And I don't need fools when I've got my baby,
My baby's beautiful and she loves me true,
and If she dies I hope I die too,
So I guess I'll say a prayer and kiss it into the air,
Put your head against mine baby, You're going nowhere,
And we all die sometimes inside, But I will regret that in time,
Scarlet if there's one thing I'd keep, It's you that I would save,
If you understand, A promise has been made,
I am your Daddy and your Daddy I will stay.
