Individualism vs Collectivism
lost in the matrix
Vexed in the prism, collecting a prison
in our systems,
Hexed our decision to even listen
When the best is given
Rest, then attest your vision
I overslept, woke up as a giant
defiant against self imposed tyrants
eyeing the hope, eye through the hole
I am the hope, defying the cold
trying to hold, the ire of the coal
Fire of the soul so vibrant and bold
The silence, behold a viable goal
Inspire a whole, to not tire and dole
on an idle mind
In vital times
Are we an individual?
Or a society with principles?
Or a nation indivisible?
Or a species with a goal?
We just trying to get by
We all alive, but still trying to survive
