Past The Brink
• Written by Vanntriliquist
Brace yourself... like an orthodontist with bad teeth,
Fast feet, on the track I'm more accomplished than athletes,
Got the drive of Tiger Woods, and the balls of Kobe Bryant,
No denyin' I can flow, so you know I won't be silent,
I'm a giant, you're a midget yo the microphone just give it,
I don't hide from my mistakes but you're the type that won't admit it,
I'm the type to write a paragraph so fast that the paper tears in half,
Compared to that, you ain't prepared to rap, sittin there waitin for the snare to clap.
Like a pterodactyl flappin' it's wings you been flappin' your jaw and askin' me things,
I would happily bring you back in the ring for an ass-whooping like I'm practising.
I don't have to sing cuz I rap like a chainsaw cuttin down rappers that hack n' swing,
Gonna redefine rap so you have to think, till your brain explodes in a blast of ink!
Cause I'm past the brink, the event horizon of my ascent you can't prevent the risin'
cause If I mess up then I'm improvisin', and if it ties in it's a bit suprisin'
Like openin a window n' a chimp just flies in followed by 5 monkeys of different sizes
No sympathizin', y'all been reminded, that I don't make songs for the simple minded.
