I need you

Lord help me

I’m struggling with demons hear my plea

Everyday they come after me

And I feel helpless I feel lost

I’m scared it’s like I’m covered in frost

I give in it goes away but what’s the cost

Whenever I give in I’ve crossed

The line they make me feel like you’ve tossed

Me into the trash

I know that can’t be true cause of the clash between light and dark

I feel the fight inside me there’s a plane crash

And there’s another hulk smash I’ve been burned

I can feel the ash and someone just got a lash

Please end this war inside me God

Send Jesus leading his squad and give him the nod

To use deadly force against our enemies

Come and squeeze every last inch of life out of them

I’m on my knees God screaming Abba Father

Please get rid of all of these

Demons I feel them on every breeze

Their hitting me making me freeze

I can’t do this anymore tell the holy spirit

To grab a demon aim at its face and spit

Every time I fall I promise I admit

But I still feel bad and I still wanna quit

Cause I know I hurt you cause I turned away

I forgot about you I strayed away

But you always come looking for me

Even though I don’t deserve you

But you say that isn’t true

They threw you on a tree a stuck a spear through you

You say I’m stuck to you harder than super glue

I’ve accepted you and given everything you went through

I know that I need you

 

Through trials and fire

You went with me through it all

Even though I’m a liar

Even though I once deserved to die

I’ll be able to hear that angelic choir

I’ll live with you forever

In the heavens in harmony

Because you God has come to claim me

A flash of lightning we’re gone

And finally everyone will see

 

God I need to recognize you more

I know I need to meditate

That’s our date that’s just great

At this rate that’ll be eight

I’m struggling with hate I’m staying up late

I pray and then I wait

I can’t hear anything I want an update

You remain hidden to me even your character is hidden

You’re one person wrapped in another

And coated with yet another

You’re three in one

The father and the son

With the spirit helping us till we’re done

I need so much help be my therapy

I can never understand thee

But you understand me

But for now you’re out of sight
