so this all started about 6 years ago

to try and get to know her i was quite slow

i wasn't in a rush always knew id see her tomorrow

i wasn't sacred of what ill say but of the things that follow

i went to her after school club and she ran the damn place

tried my best to try and not look her in the face

a few months have passed and i wanted to say something

didn't know what to say because at that point i was crushing

so i wrote a note to her and said that it was from me

she didn't know who i was because i was nobody

walk into sixth grade and she sitting in the class

so i always tried to make myself seem like a badass

but in reality i was scared as shit

cause i was a 11 year old and i was desperate

but anyways these are the things i thought you should know

and the things i should have said about six years ago

 

the next few years she was in my maths class

she had long hair white skin and a nice ass

and at that point our friendship really kicked off

hiding my emotions was obviously very tough

but i managed to do it and messed my soul up

cause we ended being friends for a few years

but then in the tenth grade the feelings came back or so it appears

around the time of the party where we danced together

i went back home and felt a little under the weather

these feelings they lasted the entire damn summer

around the same time you met your significant other

but anyways these are the things i thought you should know

and the things i should have said about six years ago

 

so i went to her house one day and asked her to the dance

hoping she would throw me a bone and give me a chance

well she, kinda ,did but not really

a complicated story that i lived through patiently

but at the end her decision was right since i left the country

so when i write these lines they are subtle poetry

at least i went on date with her which was nice

unfortunately no one gave me any advice

on what to do or what to say

but i still remember everything that happened that day

cause i found out about the other dude

and at that point i knew i was screwed

but honestly i hope your happy with this other guy

at least i did my best and gave it a try

but anyways these are the things i thought you should know
