Real Life
• Written by Visun
I sometimes get scared in this life
the fact that we care more about our money
that gets us into world fights
But really though, is saying the n-word funny?
Raising our kids to be more grammatically correct
Yet we still think being racist is cool
And no one really knows of the lives it affects
While complain about our tans by the pool
Just know there's someone out there with out a clue
To know when their next food is coming
Yet we still complain about our school food
Society lets me run amok like its nothing
But i yelled "i'm not that one"
We could all change
So I don't have to worry about my son as much as my daughter
When she goes to the dressing room to change
But I'm still called a brown terrorist
Can't make them really think of that
Cuz i'll get picked beat up as a snitch
Or get cracked with a bat
So this is for the little people who can't stand up
Or the impossible standards we much touch
Otherwise we will not be like those other guys
Yes, no girls in this equation
By law of rap, all girls are equal to suppression,
Created equal not the same
Because we have no one else to blame.
I wanted to fight and win
but now I just see it is a real sin
To not show mercy
Is an unforgivable journey
Not to the locker, where kids are always scared
Of getting themselves on the other side of the dare
So believe me when i say this
"Think to what you say"
Because those people who you made fun of,
did you know they will make more pay?
I've always had the worst luck
Because of all the sorry people I've met getting paid bucks
Instead of dollars, no salary
At least you can give them some charity
This isn't a rap, its spoken word.
And if you don't make the difference,
your service has already been served.
