They influence to pray, they influence us to raise, they show us how to dress, how to be like the rest, but I'm diffrent, not normal, all I see is paranormal, the mortal thoughts the malicious cause.

I can't seem to find myself, but I wouldn't rather be anybody else

 

The waves pullin me under', the tide bringin' the thunder, I can't seem to stand up, maybe cause I ain't strong enough, or maybe I ain't tough,

but from all yall being rough this buff of a world can't bring me down under.

Who I am is Who I want you to see, who I am not who I'm supposed to be, I don't want to be your version of perfect, I don't want to be your vision of deserving, I ain't serving your happiness, that just means you crazy, you finna be real lazy, you not out in the world , you want me to find myself so you can be old, you treat me like a nigga, after you put me through hell, at least I'm a nigga who wouldn't put you through hell.

 

Be real be you it's true it's finna be curious it finna be kind you can't find yourself well that's the whole reason why, you bein' stupid, you all lost in your head, well maybe practice loving and you'll be just as much as well.
