We out here dealing with a record breakin' heat wave

While all the kids in school hiding in they safe space

You best rip off your lips if you want to behave

Controversy plus humor makes you a disgrace

 

Social justice don't leave much for the rest of us

Crack a joke but they will only see the surface

We livin' in a "How are you feeling?" circus

Spit a mean verse and might as well be murderous

 

I want to be funny and know I can't please everyone

But who says they got monopolies on how jokes get spun

Deaf rapper, blind batter, I might as well commit treason

These politics got me questioning my speech and freedom

 

"Careful what you say, man, don't you know that's offensive?"

So I apologize to the all gypsies and the nuns

Why didn't I take my time to think from their perspective?

Just don't talk about your four fingers and leave out your thumb

 

I'mma be as PC as I can, but know I still gotta be me

And if that means chopping down your handicapped tree
