we in 2013 and we still dont get the message

they out here clappin people like they gotta survive to be selected for heaven

this shits just crazy

so much killings and we still aint seen no help

so we suppose to live in fear or keep tryin

the devil is near us and hes winnin cause he entered the government

all the government is doin is sittin back with a grin

watchin all thats goin on like were a t.v show

they think its funny cause they still gettin money

while we out here stugglin for a dime

the government shuts down and the cause of it still gets pay

while the real workers dont get shit for more then a week

and that shit hurts when you try to support a family with more then 4

feels like the government wants us dead cause hes killin us with all the lies

i try to look ahead but

the future dont look bright cause this youth is here smokin and fuckin

like its a job

seen a girl just turn 13 and she happy cause she did a hand job

but what we really doin to help nothin we just out here like spectators

watchin shows that promote whats goin wrong

im in tears cause im apart of this shit

16 feelin cursed and blessed

were bein taken over by technology

but still these kids dont understand how to use it

see a fight they take their phones out and youtube it

all the kids do is facebook and tweet

tell em to get a life and all they wanna do is fight

like that shits right

i feel bad for the younger ones

cause they lookin worse

little kids runnin around with more green on em then a tree

trynna copy what they see

they all followers and worry bout what other people think

findin reason why to think that this generation will heal

people fought freedom and we just taken it for granted

it just aint right when families lost people in that fight

and this youth think they can just ruin it over night
