In a dream last night, I was beneath the sky,
With a hole in my side, Saying my goodbyes
I had died by high tide, lying on the beach
My soul rose up, and left my body at sea
Now the next thing I felt, was a change in perspective
Old senses melt, my essence is electric
Higher and farther, than I could’ve comprehended
I merged with the stars, as if time had ended
A web of mind, fully interconnected
Everything’s alive, nothing is separate
The nemesis, and protagonist, live in harmony
The feminist, and supremacist, Its all a part of me
Unity, of all kind, its all light,
And everything is known, in the snow globe of time
I’ve been here before, its so familiar
The rise and the fall, souls in the river
Shivers up my spine, then I stopped my climb
And tumbled down through, the tree of life’s vines
First, my past lives, and all of my mistakes
I shielded my eyes, it was too much to take
Watch me break, through the wall, As I fall further
Into the dismal life, of the beef in our burgers
Murder! I thought to myself,
Just in time to be thrown into the lives of gazelles
Swiftly, way to fast to grasp
I flew through incarnations, From the frog to the cat
From beautiful plants, to diseased sewer rats
And cave dwelling bats, to colonies of ants,
The faster I go the more I lost control
Until I spiraled into the life of a microbe
Like woah! This is too much to handle!
It’s all just dust, animated by shadow!
The time lapse busts, I’m back to where I was
The question is why, the answer is because
I’ve told you nothing but the truth
So help me god, a little bit odd, got screws loose
As above, so below, in the unfolding lotus
I remember, I know, even deep in hypnosis
