Neighbors

I grew up with this boy right down the street

Never knew in 10 years we would meet

Everything felt so perfect and safe

We went out on our very first date

Of course I was running Sam late.

He pulled up in a black Honda Civ, I almost threw up, I probably did

my heart was racing like it always does

but this time it was a different kind of buzz.

Later that night we chilled; got to just rap in his car

I thought to myself "I like the person that you are"

But I remained silent and shy (but maybe not I’ll ask)

So let me tell you about this guy

6 foot something, great smile and lips ( those lips thouggghhh)

Talkative, polite and con-fid-ent

We started talking everyday plus some

I know you also felt the connection. (First 7-8 seconds)

He stood by my side through the good and the bad

and I hate to be like Drake but he is def the best I ever had.

Now a year and some months later, still going strong

Every part of my body tells me "this is exactly where you belong".
