Love at first sight

Remember that time, I caught you looking uncertainly,

You rendered a blush, laughed and chuckled flirtily,

Gave out a silent hush with lips that fitted perfectly,

You haven't uttered a word and already you're hurting me,

I stuttered to find the nerve to go over to talk to you,

It was just a short walk but it felt like a mile or two,

I put on a smile for you and we became acquainted,

Surprised I haven't feinted by the feelings im gripped with,

Wrong word slips out, but she finds my flaws addictive,

We were just kids and without being overly descriptive

She bowled me over every time she moved her hips,

Sent for me six and there was nothing I could do about it,

Minutes turned into hours, and still we conversated

So I bought that girl some flowers and soon after we dated.

 

Now the nervousness had completely dissipated,

We just debated about having Indian or Chinese,

She's got me on my knees looking for the number,

"I've looked everywhere" I frustratingly muttered

She said "Not everywhere, have you looked under the covers?"

Then she attacked me and showed me why she's my lover

I shyly laughed "Keep it down or we're gonna wake your mother"

I don't think we did, but I think we woke her brother,

Innocently inexperienced we fumbled and groped,

Never took things serious, don't think there was much hope,

Of us being anything less than two tragic romantic jokes,

But that just added to the magic and that's how I coped,

Soaked in a cocktail of love and aspirations,

Baby girl I swear one day i'll take you on vacation,

Without hesitation she just wrapped her arms around me,

Cried she's glad she found me, there could be no separation,

 

High on infatuation I need to ground my feet,

Not along ago strangers, now we're the perfect tag team,

The girl of my dreams, I didn't think we'd ever meet

Didn't actually believe that things could turn out this sweet,

Ridiculously up-beat but now i'm fully invested,

If anything happens to us i'd get so depressed kid,

But who am I to mess with fate that has brought us together,

But I just get so stressed kid that we wont last forever,

I must have more faith but its really hard to endeavour,

When we're apart are the times I don't feel too clever,

Don't break my heart and i'll worship you like Mecca,

I wish I knew from the start how our paths would turn out,

But love is a gamble that leaves you with many doubts,

That gets your brain tangled and can leave you with nout,

And i'm not gonna tell you how this story ends,

But once you love someone you can't go back to being friends.
