I been feelin violent people mistakin my kindness for weakness

never seem to find the right time or seasons

for reasons unknown this mental paradox sinks in

im stuck with this condition till the day I stop breathin

she told me that i couldn't just ignore my inner demons

paid the price shortly after leavin for the weekend

picked up all the baggage from the past the same evenin

let the pain deepen never thought I could be beaten

naive to think that I could solve my problems just be leavin

if thats true why do I see so many fighting to be free then

my heart continues bleedin for my people overseas

insane that id forgotten just how hard a life can be
