Year 5 Camp Song

We packed our books,

year 5s were off the hook,

Heading to Hanmer

You could already hear the banter

of the Elmwood year 5s

So joyous and so alive.

 

The bus trip was fun,

We played "Spot it" and sung.

Once the bus had dropped us off

we split into our groups

ready to start our activities with our troops.

 

There was mountain biking, tree climbing and orienteering too,

So little time and so much to do.

The sun was shining, the weather was perfect

Drinking plenty of water and wearing sunscreen was worth it.

 

By tea time our excitement hadn't died

We were ready to spot some possums

Some groups spotted nearly 30, isn't that awesome?
