You know the pursuit of happiness,
I tried it, it's a frantic mess,
I've been waiting to get this off my chest,
Once it's said and done it's gone' stay at rest,
Don't try to make it with the best,
I do believe I'm truly blessed,
It takes hard work and dedication,
To get out that life of deprivation,
So focus on you're pronunciation, and maybe we could all have a celebration,
I'll be dreaming big just like a fool.
Have to take the risks and break the rules, there's no turning back it doesn't seem to cruel,
Just know one of these days I'm gonna make you drool,
There's no stopping me know,
I'm slowly accelerating, and patiently waiting,
On the moment I can start celebrating, and motivating,
The people to form a new congregation,
One without hailing satan,
So don't change the station,
I'm not one of those pill junkies,
Just trying to be wanna be's,
I'm just doing me,
Cause I'm still hungry,
Not your average flunkie,
But look at where my skills have brung me,
Sometimes it's not meant to be,
But only if you could see,
The immorality, of undermining, me,
Go fly a kite and land it in a tree,
I'm in the pursuit of trying to be free,
Take that burden off your shoulders like it's really meant to be,
And I'm for certain,
Behind the closed curtain,
Lies a tortured person,
So filled with hate,
They can't even see straight,
Won't even begin to tolerate,
The lessons you learn right from the gate,
What's earned can't be lost,
And everything comes at a cost,
I still figured I give it my best shot,
Pour it all out until my last thought,
I'd give the world my heart just to get a head start,
Keep doing my civil duties and keep playing my part,
Until that one day it all falls apart,
That's when I'll play my cards,
Head towards, the top of the charts,
I've got a big imagination that's what they've said from the start,
I take my infatuations straight from the heart,
I guess I'm showing up fashionably late,
Figured I'd sit back and wait,
Watch all the mistakes,
Find the true reason you're all so fake,
Might as well be might fate,
To take all of my bitter hate,
Turn it into a masterpiece so my fans can meditate,
And find their own underlying means to elaborate.
