The Trip
• Written by Kanvas
I could have sworn that light was simple when we got here,
Your cat looked at me like I drank his cat beer,
This shit is much more potent than my dealer told me,
It's time for us to bail, help me, my homie!
So, my friend gave me a buzz today and when I finished up,
I felt my plan had flipped around,
I felt like I was on the cusp,
Of finding something in me I could not have seen without
This knowledge is always taboo,
Like watching grown men pout
Like, "I was missing out right now,
And this shit couldn't be described!"
Naturally, I got excited like,
"Yeah, I love those vibes!"
Flash forward days,
Mind fills with ways to harness this new light
But without lessons on how to fly,
The nested eagle rarely flies
Bags are packed,
The house is clean
With pages stacked,
My mind will glean
This knowledge from
This age old tome
While I trip out
Inside my room
I could have sworn that light was simple when we got here,
Your cat looked at me like I drank his cat beer,
This shit is much more potent than my dealer told me,
It's time for us to bail, help me, my homie!
I sit this shit was great thought normal,
You can not be me
Translation straight to English is,
"We know nothing you see!"
Experiences will vary if you ask me then your mother
I remember vividly the pain of burying my brother,
We are all pawns, hating like we're others
But eventually, we must learn to love one another
If we want to change the world they're presenting
We need to learn to stop resenting
Man's truest form stripped down to the bone
Ignore the haters, do you lone
To improve your form compared to the start
Look back on history, open your heart
Our lives are small on this universal scale
Scale the summit, expansion prevails
I could have sworn that light was simple when we got here,
Your cat looked at me like I drank his cat beer,
This shit is much more potent than my dealer told me,
It's time for us to bail, help me, my homie!
