Always said I shoulda been born black

Some people well they don’t like that,

but despite them I’m still on the attack

They’re calling me crazy cause I wanna live like Swazey

All I gotta do is make it to the top

That ain’t easy but I just can’t stop

Workin hard every day

Just to earn my pay so I can pave the way

Lead others like me and the one day

They might see

I’ve become everything I said I would be

But till then I’ll keep racking the weights

Always keepin an eye on the competition

Tryna figure out where I fit in

That may be true but st least

They’re defeated I know their pain

My past is different that maybe be true but now I’m prayin
