Picture, imperfect, not as it seems,
Picture, imperfect, not as he dreams,
Frame broken and cracked, hangs with a lean,
With a tilt, all the glass has just spilled,
The photo itself, is nothing else,
But worthless, no thousand words, wordless,
Shaky hand photographer, curses,
In an old dark room, with a red tint,
Glasses on crook, looking like he Clark Kent,
Regretting all the time spent, art school,
Creativity outside his gene pool,
His own worst critic, self doubt, lethal,
Art church, heretic, crying at the steeple,
Art can't please him, it can't please the people,
Feeble and lost, camera tossed trash,
His photos past, will now be his last,
Lens smashed,
Dreams crashed,
Self lashed,
