God Complex

 

Thought is your enemy and God almighty is an entity,

I am my own higher power and I find myself friendly,

I pray at night but not on my knees in my dreams,

I have faith in my subconscious to keep me serene,

God is not fake, but he's turned to fiction, disguised by books popes and a dependence addiction,

he did not create human beings,

we created him,

consciousness transcends beyond the minds diagram,

wavelengths surround us like your cellphone and sunrays,

strong enough belief in a thing can cause it to form in those waves.

I believe in an entity connecting all of the souls on this earth,

produced by the hosts of these souls need to explain how all things work,

A primitive mind can't properly contemplate why the sun shines bright enough to light up there day so they say it's due to the magic of a man in the sky,

The implanted illusions and scams are just schemes in disguise,

All the scientific evidence laid on the table turns up denied,

While the stories embedded into minds of monkeys survive,

I'm not denying the idea of a higher power, I'm declaring that the sweet idea of it has turned us sour,

We're overwhelmed by faith while church is overwhelmed with power,

The followers idea of it is a beautiful flower that the rulers entice and devour,
