Broken Home

Momma was a bit naive,

And Daddy was a blinded thief

He went and stole away what was left

i came from a broken home had to fend for myself on my own

it molded me like scolding glass with heat in to what i stand to be

my mother screams my father leaves i had a dream like luther king

that all was sweet and then i awoke to this disease

that is conflict in the home life broken like bones

my daddy was a lying cheat but without him we were in need

but my parents disagreed life went downhill i felt impeled

to cut myself and start making my mothers life a living hell

but my momma she was positive that all would turn out fine

that we would be living the good life of the right on cloud nine

but admissions later and discharge papers im still a fucked up child

vile to the point no one even wants to see me smile

my father said that im a sick child.

close familys always fall apart this was no different with ours

my moms a woman always shooting for the stars

but them stars are meteors come crashing back down to earth

and i guess that crash was my birth i guess i landed in the dirt

the doctors guessed id never learn my parents guessed that i dont know

everyone guessed that id never grow up to understand

myself or have respect for anybody else or grow up to be a women

I must believes everything even when i know its crap

its bad my father never taught me how to be a tough

threatened me with insults

but when the man you look up to tells you all these things

you dont know what to believe

but then suddenly it clicks when your own dad rips out the bannister

burns divorse papers with a fuckin gas cannister

gets removed and in a police car he is passenger

and then i realise im subject to a mental massacre
