Quiet place to recognize that I am not in charge

I did not get to this point sitting in the Sunday pews.

Now I didn't say I did not go to Church

I was getting fed daily, and I was putting in the work

 

Now it's Sunday, treat it like a sundae

Proper diet all week now it's a fun day

Worship songs have got me feeling hyped like chocolate sauce

You can call me nuts because I'm treating Jesus like my boss

Courage, yep... Good rep, get...

Scars, bet... Forgive, ness...

Jesus, bled... Sin is dead...

Jammin' in my car with the volume high as it can go

Singing praises loud and out of key until my throat is sore

I don't really care because I just want Jesus more and more
