Rap In My Veins

• Written by  • Featuring Tempo and Rapmonger

ever wonder why blacks always dribble or mic check
or they struggle for a little cash just get they dick wet
or pay they baby mama check
oldest of the litter my title came from the bible
late bloomer but when i blossomed i shot out like a rifle
see i waited my whole life while you get opportunity often
and i ask why do we fall, and why god aint come yet
ive been saint not shooting up the compound like columbine
we dont faint at the sight of police and die running without a fight
they underestimate us physically mentally
so they give us balls and pens expecting failure
but we excel and then they got Eminem or Larry bird
just to try to beat the measure
but i will forever be loyal to my practice, no distractions
I assassinate the kraken and move on to bigger dragons
lyrics that will never fail to fascinate
more than adequate, like an aqueduct or duck tape
been fascinated with rap since i was eight
i would write on the low under my covers
for the love of god and my mother, brothers
and sister i would rap in hushed wispers
i give got credit for my pain, props to rap for keeping me sane
