angels on queen's street
• Written by JUICYJAYBO
look at the waste
as the dump truck crashed face first, 3 days before christmas
6 gone it coulda been anyone of us
when I look across this gentle river I still shiver even when the temperature
disny plummet like its winter
on a make shift heli pad
the clutha main structure is damaged real bad but it still stands
that image is my memory to the end of our march for independence
it turned sour
take away party our, presents
we'll still dance give us a live band we're the alliance
in a lions, den
my friend I'm not Glaswegian I'm just from around that region
when suffer now seems to be shown more during the holiday seasons
when love for one another gets portrayed in seasonal greetings
n the same songs fucking play on repeat
l.e.d's light up the street
along with lighters for the deceased
take me to church hozier a believe I'm diseased
I'm cozier in my bedroom am looking down on others less nourished
but believe a don't feel at ease
