I had a friend who live with his mother

his father died and he had no sisters and brothers

and every time they came around people would tease him

they said mean things and nobody believed him

he will come to school with the same shirt and pants it was a tradgedy

doing what his mama said to be a real man but it wasnt happening

yeah he fought for so much when he was a little boy

never telling anybody that times were real hard

He only have one pair of shoes that was smaller than his feet

he always went home with nothing to eat

and all the time he looked skinny to the bone

he never really did have a place to call home

and even though he knew that the people was wrong

I'm surprised that he stayed very strong

he stayed very calm

never leaving his mother alone

cause he knew that where his mother waswill always be his home
